Dearest Holy Spirit, confiding in your deep, personal love for me, I am making this novena for the following request, if it should be Your holy Will to grant it:

Teach me, Divine Spirit, to know and seek my last end; grant me the holy fear of God; grant me true contrition and patience. Do not let me fall into sin. Give me an increase of faith, hope, and charity, and bring forth in my soul all the virtues proper to my state of life.
Make me a faithful disciple of Jesus and an obedient child of the Church. Give me efficacious grace sufficient to keep the commandments and to receive the sacraments worthily. Give me the four Cardinal Virtues, Your Seven Gifts, Your Twelve Fruits. Raise me to perfection in the state of life to which You have called me and lead me through a happy death to everlasting life.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE:
Mary knows what will make us happy.
Luke 1:46: My spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
Earthly things & pleasure can only give us comfort for a while. We can only have true joy & peace in God.
Mary knows that our true happiness lies in serving God & helping others.
Acknowledge before God and man that whatever is good in you and your life is the gratuitous work of the Holy Spirit.
THE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN US
We're all blessed with different gifts, talents and potentials. The strength which we use in doing good gives a very powerful result. The same way terrible things happen when we use our gifts to do evil.
Some will never find their gifts & purpose in life because they are distanced from the Spirit of God.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you realize and use your gift for the glory of God and for the good of mankind.
